Up for auction today is a 3 phase Variac 1 part Powerstat and 2 parts Luxtrol. This is a 50 amp variable transformer. The top unit is the Powerstat. We fully tested these and there are no dead spots in any of the 3 units. They all measured between 120.2-120.6 VAC at full throttle. On the bottom unit you can see a spot where a short has occured before(as pictured) This short did not damage the variac as it is in good working condition. The whole units dimensions are 18X14X31. Used three phase Variac from General Radio. Input 120VAC. 60Hz, Output is 6 amps per phase. Can be wire to produce a 20V buck to provide a 0-140VAC output. Includes knob and dial plate. Has some minor blemishes. But turns smooth. See pictures for condition. Tested with a 150W load on each phase and worked great. No noted dead spots and nice. Smooth ramping of voltage.
