Staco E3000 Variable AC DC Power Supply Variac
This is a Staco E3000 Variable AC/DC Power Supply. It has two standard grounded outlets. One is 120 volt AC and the other is 0-120 volt AC with 1.5 amp maximum output. There are two sets of banana plugs on the bottom. The yellow is for 0-14 volts AC with a 3 amp max. The black and red banana plugs are for 0-14 volts DC with 2.5 amp maximum output. This unit has two circuit breakers. One for high and one for low voltage. Only one set of variable outputs can be used at one time. The dial changes the value on all outputs at the same time. This unit has a power light and an on/off switch which is switched by a small key. The key is included. I have tested the unit on all outputs and can see no issues. The power cord end looks like some kind of replacement but I have three or four of these units and they all have the same style end. I don't ... moreknow if it came from the factory that way or not. Cable is starting to crack in a few places, good amount of dry rot on it and probably needs to be replaced soon or at least taped up. This has been closet stored since the late 70's by my father.
