It was made by the Superior Electric Company of Bristol Connecticut. It has another tag(serial number/asset control number? that says"Nestle's 68031. It also has a sticker by the on/off switch stating that it was manufactured under the following patents, so it might be an earlier 10 amp model. I replaced the fuse, plugged it in and it works! Although it's difficult to capture the differences in lighting with my camera phone, if you look at the light bouncing off the wall you can see that the output has clearly changed. I bought it to work on vacuum tube guitar amps and never got around to doing anything with it. Time to make space. I've set this up as a 5 day auction. I'm on my way out of town on a business trip saturday morning. So payment must be received as soon as the auction ends as I have to get it in the mail Friday afternoon/evening.
