Here is a great find! It is a 2.8 KVA. 240 Volt, 10 Amp 0-240 VAC"Variac" Adjustable auto-transformer, that was made by Standard Electrical Products Co. Inc. Dayton, Ohio, Type 2520B, That is in excellant condition, undamaged and shows almost no signs of use, that is presently wired for use on 120 Vac 50/60 Hz(0-140 VAC output) that could be used on 240 Vac(0-280 VAC Output, at 10 amperes, either way. It could be placed between the line and the primary of the high voltage transformer of a maximum legal input ham amplifier, in order to adjust the plate voltage, or used to slowly bring up vintage tube gear. It will be double boxed and shipped by UPS for $40.00, due to it's weight and size. Shipping cost includes all packing materials.

This unit is new but has shipping damage: The faceplate on one of the transformers was crushed in shipping. Causing it to crack, and breaking one of the wires underneath on the transformer. The frame of the unit is slightly bent but the unit still turns freely and the other 2 transformers are in good condition. The damaged transformer may be repairable by soldering/ reconnecting the wire. This unit is sold as-is for parts or repair. No returns accepted. As best we can tell. Each individual transformer is a 120V 10A unit and they are currently wired in a three-phase wye configuration.
