VARIAC W20M Autotransformer by General Radio 120 Volts High Stability Audiophile
Tested with my cheap digital meter it maxed at 127 volts STABLE. I'm inclined to think it's my equipment. Not the transformer that's amiss. Irregardless, that's well above the required voltage for a 110/120v 50-60 cycle device. Rescued it from a homeowner garage, it had one of the top knockouts missing, but was covered with black tape that had been there so long it was curled. I removed it and wiped the light coat of dust off, turned it upside down, nothing came out. Former owner was a lineman/electrician, lived in the same home for 60 years and was meticulous with his equipment. Heavy duty cord and plug. Solid unit.
