This was my college microscope last used approximately 21 years ago. It has been in storage in my attic since then. The Microscope works but could use a good cleaning. The American Optical light source still works as well as can be seen in the pictures. There is no mount for the light on the transformer base- the light source fits directly onto the microscope. I'm also including the accessories that you see in the pictures: the Sepor sorter and approximately 100 aluminum slide trays. If you are curious. I used this microscope to pick benthic foraminifera out of core samples which I then transferred to slides. This sale is as is. Push-pull lever for tube view is working smoothly. Alignment seems good, though it's not always easy to tell without eyepieces. Some scratches and scuffs to finish as expected with age and use. In the center postion it is a regular stereo microscope with two converging optical systems. 1x Main objective lens. 10x wide field eyepieces. One focusing and with cell for micrometer reticule if desired but not supplied. Large Semprex stand with extended rack. Stand measures 14.6" deep x 11" wide. The rack is 12 3/4" tall. The total height from table to top of rack is 19.6" Mechanical stage with right hand low controls and 4" x 4" movement.
