It is quite clean aside from some very light dust from storage. The optics are clean and free of chips/nicks/scratches/fungus. NOTE: If you only want the scope and want to save significantly on shipping. We can remove the scope from the table and/or base plate and ship you just the microscope Notes: The view through this scope is bright and clear. All the motors for the objective turret and the field and aperture diaphragms work properly. Without the controller we could not test the stage but all three axes turn easily by hand. The video ... moresetup works as well. And we found the automatic exposure control quite useful. The air table has a slight leak in one regulator but all three zones control normally. The 5th photo shows a few images taken through this scope and shown on the monitor. they do no justice to the view, but they illustrate that it works. Please NOTE: the coarse focus is tight, but the fine focus is so loose that it slips down by itself. We are not able to adjust this. This microscope is in good working condition with some light scuffs and scratches on the case. The scope works great and we were able to use it effectively. The left coarse stage lift knob on is missing the set screw. The fine knob works and the the right coarse is working. I guess the previous owners removed the set screw for some reason. The objectives are motorized for easy rotation via controls on the side. There is some kind of iris control as well. The light is built into the back and there is a camera mounted on the top but I don't have anything that will interface with it, so I can't really test it's function. There are cosmetic scratches here and there as seen in the pictures. The Nikon RCP-21 controller is missing some of the button covers buttons as seen in the pictures. All buttons work fine but some require a harder push. The cable connectors for the motorized stage are slightly bent. The cables fit in without a problem and the stage works fine. The dovetail on the bottom of the microscope head has some minor chips in the metal as seen in the pictures. The head has no issue staying in place once the screws are tightened. The autofocus works but it is not always accurate. The pendant allows for manual adjustments. The upper motorized light aperture control works fine but the opening motor does not stop when the aperture reaches the open position. It continues to cycle. This does not affect the actual functionality of the aperture. There is a cable connector and an air line connector on the right side of the stage intended to control the wafer lo
