Olympus CH CHBS Light Microscope w/ New Bulb, Objective, Manual - Clean & Works!
For sale is a used Olympus CH CHBS binocular light microscope. It comes with one ocular. One objective, new bulb and manual. The unit is very clean and appears to function great. There are two old asset ID tags on it. It comes from a working university dental lab. The ocular is an Olympus WK 10x/20L but the rubber is detached. The objective is an Olympus 10x A10 0.25 16-0.17 plus 3 empty objective slots with one plug. I put in a brand new bulb and will include the box an old bulb that might have some life left. Drop in polarizer(U-POT) simple analyzer with accessory slider slot(no sliders included) swing out condenser. Includes dual head attachment, four WHK10x/20L oculars, Neo 5x 10x 20x and Neo Plan 10x objectives, blue light filter(LBD-IF) Condition is very good, very minor abrasions on scope body and stage. Objectives have some scratches on external barrel. Optics are all clean and clear to the best of my ability to test them. However, I cannot gaurentee their suitabiltly for all potential applications. It is a HEAVY all metal sturdy construction made in England. No batteries required and all mechanical operation means it work great for a long time to come. On top the 10X eyepiece that was a nice to look through. Below there are a 10(100X) and a 40(400X) objectives. With one open position to add one more. Both the coarse and fine focus controls work smoothly. And were a pleasure to use. The 100X gave some great views when I tested it. And the 400X also works OK. This auction is for an excellent condition U-MF2 fluorescence filter cube for the BX and IX series of Olympus microscopes. Fitted with a Chroma GREEN filter set. The emission filter has some marks around the edge, but the dichroic mirror and excitation filters are clear and clean. The DAPI filter set is listed as Excitation 546nm. Dichroic mirror 565nm and emission filter 590nm. Due to the quality of the item(a new empty U-MF2 cube costs $441 from Chroma) A reasonable starting price has been set for this item.
