This is a fantastic stereoscope. It has a powerful zoom lens and fully adjustable eyepieces. It is in perfect running order. It has the illuminated base. The last picture was taken with my cellphone camera through the lens. The lenses are perfectly clear. Its just a bit harder to get a pic through the lens.

For sale is refurbished Nikon SMZ-2B Stereo Zoom microscope. Comes complete with Adjustable Nikon microscope stand. New light ring and 2 sets of lenses. Brand new fluorescent ring light from Techniquip To complete the package are two sets of lenses. The first set is Nikon 20 x/12 with removable crosshair reticles. This auction is for a NIKON SMZ-2B STEREO ZOOM MICROSCOPE with 33 X/ 5 EYEPIECES. It also has the stand and is mounted to a wooden board. I am no expert but I tried the microscope and it seems to work fine. All the knobs seem to do what they need to do. This came from the estate of college professor that had passed away. It is used but seems to be in very good condition. I can not find anything wrong with this item and would think you would be completly satisfied with it. The items that I list. Wide zoom range of 8X to 50X(more than a 1:6 ratio) infinitely variable, with the included BRAND NEW wide-field WF10X/20 30mm diameter eyepieces, HIGH-RELIEF for very comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. The interocular distance is adjustable, and there are dual diopter adjustments. The gears in the focusing mount are in fine shape, and the boomstand has a wrist articulation.
