However it somehow doesn't provide enough space to house the microscope with the mechanical stage already attached. So the mechanical stage will come detached from the microscope. It's very easy to put it on; you just need to fit it into two tiny holes on the stage and put in one screw by hand-no screwdriver needed. Despite that it's very secure. For safety reasons I cannot include the samples. But included are(20) high quality blank glass slides and(20) covers for preparing your own slides. However still very usable- they can be cleaned easily if removed and q-tipped with windex. the illumination lighting shown in the photos was simply a flashlight pointed into the back of the light source. a piece of aluminum foil has been substituted for the diagonal mirror in the light source path which could be replaced with little effort in order to provide a brighter field light source/axis is adjustable.
