LEICA MZ6 microscope complete with base and fiberoptic illuminator NR
You are looking at nicely equipped Leica MZ6 Microscope. It come with the ergonomic height adjustable head adapter and a perfect set of Leica 210x/21B wild eyepieces. It also comes with a base(not sure of the part number) that is equipped with 2 fiber-optic light feeds on the back for back lighting. It also comes with a 150w illuminator and a fiber-optic light-ring. Note: The system is fully operational but I like to mention anything that is wrong so that there are No Surprises. Things worth mentioning: The fiber-optic ring-light has a metallic shield that protects the fiber-optic strands and the shield has come dislodged(about 1/4 inch) from the ring(see pics) This does not affect the performance as you can simply push it back in place(see pics) Also. Please note that the base is missing the inspection glass(this is the glass plate that ... moreis placed in the middle of the base that covers the hole) There's some slight yellowing on the plastic that covers the head due to UV light exposure(see pics) Lastly. I'm not sure how new/old the bulb is and therefore, not sure how long it will last(this is not an expensive bulb though) There will be No Reserve for this auction and it will sell to the highest bidder. Up for auction is a Leica MZ6 Microscope with 0.63X for restoration. Comes out of a closed manufacturing facility. Unit is dirty and yellowed with some solder/flux splatter on bottom objective. However. It looks like it should clean up well. Zoom adjustment seems to work OK. Instead of trying to describe every defect I’ve taken high resolution pictures of the unit.
