Leitz Berek Compensator I'm unsure what exactly this unit is. But it appears to be similar in design and function to the Berek Compensator, possibly a later model? The adjustment knob move very smoothly and the lens turns accordingly. However, the lens very easily falls out of position, so I'll included it in a small bag. The glass looks to have a small mark on it, although I'm unsure if it will affect functionality.

This is a single optical channel compound photomicroscope and includes the 1:5 achromatic zoom lens with iiris as well as the special 0.5X lens.working distance is 102mm and 188mm respectively. The s/n 127095 is near the end of the finite microscope run just prior to Leitz going to infinity correction for their transmitted light microscopes and introduction of the"DM" series.
