It contains a 0.5x lens which increases the focal length but cuts the magnification in half. The lens has some gouges on the outside from pliers and is removable. The eyepieces are 10x wide field. The image through the microscope is flawless. The boom stand is in very good shape. The focus mechanism is in excellent operating condition.
