The head and eyepiece lenses are in good shape and the optics are clear and not scratched or fogged. There are 3 objectives and they are all in good condition with the types as follows: 16mm x10. 4mm 43x and 18mm 97x oil. The stage is in good condition and the control knob works well and adjusts smoothly. The condenser is in good condition but the control knob for the condenser adjustment is hard to turn although it does work. The objective mount is pitted(see picture 10) but it swivels and locks into place. This unit does not have a lamp/illuminator assembly. Item is sold as described. A nice Bausch and Lomb microscope with wooden case. Condition is only fair. As there is a good bit of tarnishing and some pitting on the brass components. The iron parts(small screws) and door lock key do have surface rust on them. Case has a few paint splatters on it. See image 10. There are two(2) eyepieces. Approximately 14" when extended and 12" when retracted. Wood carry case is 6 1/2" x 8" x 14" Box and scope for shipping will weigh approx. 16 lbs. Key works to lock case. Serial no. is: 82039 This will clean up and look nice as a display piece. Thank you for looking.

Four objectives( 3 brass) 4 mm 0.65 43X, 16 mm 0.25 10X, oil immersion; 160.0 mm 1/12 1.32NA. 4th objective is(silver so I assume)steel-oil immersion: 1.8mm 1.25 97X, in its own case. Double-sided mirror, illuminator which is a Beck and Kassel made in Germany. bulb works.Also has a small container with a blue glass and i believe the other is a dark ground stop. as well as a third glass that was already there in microscope. see photo#7.there ... moreis also a bracket, i assume for mounting under the stage not sure. Wooden case has label on inside of Bausch and Lomb. The brass against the black make this microscope a wonderful scientific display piece. 1) The removable Eyepiece Lens is marked on the barrel, Carl Zeiss Jena(engraved in script) The screw out eye optic(unscrews from the short barrel of the eyepiece lens) is marked, 6 Compens- Ocular. The bottom lens of the eyepiece(one that inserts in the top of the microscope) looks good. The top glass lens of the eyepiece has scratches and tiny pits(they do NOT show up in the photo) A guide fiber or hair has been internally attached(about rim to center) and can be seen when viewing. Wear and a some marks to the knurled ring. Turret objective lenses are: 1) The thinner objective lens is marked ... moreon the barrel, C 11 C. ZEISS C 5102(brass part near lens) Wear and tarnish. Bausch and Lomb Microscope Light (Cat. No. 31-35-47)
This is an official Bausch and Lomb microscope light. The build quality is excellent. I will note that there are some cosmetic markings on both the transformer and the light itself. The light is designed to fit into a B&L StereoZoom7 stand(I believe it fits other StereoZoom models as well. But I cannot confirm) The transformer and light are very solid. And there is no fraying or kinking of the cables. A good buy for someone who needs a replacement light.

There appears to be dirt or dust buildup on the inside of the lenses.perhaps if cleaned they would function well? This microscope was purchased from an individual who bulk purchases local factory surplus. He informed me no one had shown interest in the item therefore he had stored it in a closet for a couple years.

E. Leitz Wetzlar Inspection Microscope w. Bausch & Lomb Lenses
I call this an"Inspection" microscope because it is designed to be positioned over some sort of work surface to inspect something rather than having a stage like an ordinary microscope. I do not know if that is the correct term. It has a 10x eyepiece and an objective lens that says"32mm 0.10" It is in focus when the objective is about 1 1/2 inches above the object being viewed. This is just the distance that the microscope is set at when the bottom of the flexable mount is flush with the surface being viewed. as you can see in the next to last picture. The barrel has an extra long extension to allow focusing over a wide range. The pivot arms allow the scope to be positioned up to 9 1/2 inches from the mounting point. It is designed to be mounted on a cylindrical post with a diameter of about 12mm or 1/2 inch. There is ... morea small bulb/light source mounted on the scope. I have not tried to see if it works. Excellent for quick, detailed moderately high magnification for inspections, Q.C. flat specimen, defects, etc. Large, flat heavy duty stage is 5-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 5/16" convenient for sample mounting. Objectives include one N.A. 0.55, approximately 2 mm D lens, and one N.A. 0.25 with about 4 mm D lens both mounted on a rotatable turret. There is a bottom mounted illuminator and a rotatable disk diaphram with 4 apertures. Approximately 5/8" 5/16" 1/4" and 1/8" D. With the heavy duty base, the weight is about 4# and overall size 12"H x 10" D x 5-1/2" ... moreW. Stage is 4-1/2" above desktop and tiltable over 90 degrees. These microscopes are normally quite flat field with a very shallow depth of field but very quick and easy to use. The accompanying photographs were taken through the microscope. Bausch& Lomb StereoZoom 7 microscope. This microscope is usable. However, it needs alignment. If you look with only one eye, and then then other eye, you will notice that the image is in a slightly different position. So I am selling it"as is" for parts or repair. The optics seem okay, except for the misalignment. I had used the microscope several times before I became aware of the misalignment. Includes the 2 B&L 10x wide field eyepieces. The 1.0x to 7.0x variable power pod, stand, and a flat steel plate. There is no light. The plate does not appear to be part of the original microscope. The plate just rests on the base and is not attached. It could be mounted if someone drilled holes through it.

This is a Bausch& Lomb microscope with 10x& 43x and a light that is working(see pictures) I do not know much about microscopes but they all appear to be in working order.
