Zeiss Microscope Photo Selector Device
You are bidding on a Zeiss microscope photo changing device with a reticle eyepiece for a camera mount. I’m not really sure how it works. But it has a drum with three a three position slider which redirects the light to the viewing port or up to the top port. In addition, the drum itself rotates between two positions as well. Possibly this is changing the amount of light going up to the port and to the viewing device. It is Zeiss catalog number 473051 and seems to work as it should. I have no way to test it other than to know that all of the movements are smooth. The dovetail mount on the bottom is the standard 43 mm mounting dovetail which Zeiss used in the 160 mm series. This is a Leitz Wetzlar Periplan 10x eyepiece from a circa 1970 Ortholux microscope. It is a widefield 18mm ocular in excellent condition with a nice glasses protector. I am selling it for about half the price of similar lenses on ebay. I think the quality of this vintage lens from Germany is far superior than what you buy today. The lens with eye protector is 3 inches long if you compare it with a different partner lens. However. I would only pair it with a similar lens.

A 39mm Leica screw mount, and other types of mounts. The PFM device has a built-in leaf shutter to prevent vibration that might be caused by the action of a mirror or focal plane shutter. The Nikon Microflex was introduced with the Nikon F. Around 1959. Early examples of the Microflex had no designation. Of the three versions that were made, the second and third versions were designated"PFM" to differentiate them from other Microflex devices. The configuration is a tube with a microscope ... morecamera on one end and a microscope attached to the other end. In the middle is an eyepiece that can be used to view the object to be photographed. It has diopter settings from-4 to +4. Viewing through the eyepiece is facilitated by a small prism that must be pulled out of the light path to the camera by pulling a chrome knob on the same tube as the eyepiece.
