I can see daylight thru it so am guessing that it is good. I do not know how to use a high magnification microscope so it is untested by me. Size is about 2 inches long. Diameter about 3/4" at threads. Only minor ageing and use wear as would be expected. I do not see any damages nor repairs. See photos for cosmetic condition. I will ship it insured against damage or loss for full sale price thru USPS. Olympus SPlan 100 Microscope Objective For sale- an Olympus SPlan 100 Microscope Objective. I’m afraid I’m not enough of an expert on microscopes to be able to translate. But the other numbers on the objective are 1,25 oil followed by 160/0,17. Other objectives are visible in the picture in the turret of the Olympus Vanox S microscope. But the only thing being offered here is the one 100X objective. I will get some better pictures when I remove it from the scope. The Vanox S is in pretty good shape but some of the controls are worn so I am going to sell that separately. The microscope features a motorized advance for the turret. So there would be minimal contact with the objectives themselves, as when it advances from one objective to the next it also increases the distance between the objective and the stage so that the tip of the objective ... moreshouldn’t collide with whatever sample you are looking at. The Vanux has an outboard light source but didn’t come with a power supply for it. And the internal lamp is either burned out or I don’t know how to turn it on, possibly both. So even if I was good at looking through optical devices(and I am not. I have a hard time with binoculars, rifle scopes, etc. I can’t really get a look through the thing. Untested. Sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
