Leitz Binocular Trinocular Head for Microscopes: great condition
Leitz Trinocular Head for Microscopes See pictures for condition. I got this 20 years ago and would guess it was 1980-1090 vintage. I don't know the model. The trinocular on top is for a camera. When pull one of the knobs on the side in splits the light between eyepieces and camera path. The mounting ring on the bottom is 1.95 inch diameter(a little over 49 mm) This was salvaged off of a very big and expensive custom semi-conductor instrument. I assume it is top quality. It was not used in a bio lab. It has been sitting on my shelf in a box for over 20 years. Unused. Ask questions. You surely know more than me about optics. I think you can mount this on some of the bases people are offering on ebay with an objective lens and have a TOP END microscope. Sorry. No international sales.

Leitz Wetzlar Trinocular Head (Part# 512 737) GREAT Condition!
Leitz Wetzlar Trinocular Head- 512-737 This particular piece was a warranty repiar in 1985. Upon its return from the manufacturer. The head was stuck in a drawer, in the box, in protective packaging, with all tube caps in place, until last month when it was re-discovered. It has not been used since storage. All knobs and movements are free-flowing and without undue resistance. I have the original packing slip from the repair facility which I will include(sorry, not pictured) and states: Required adjustments have been attended to by manufacturer. Prefix"512" is used for conventional tubes(not polarizing) This is an"FSA-R" type head for reflected light automatic tube-length compensating. Has a special corner-cube reflecting prism and optics next to the beam-dividing prism which allowed an image to be projected from the camera(or photometer) into the binocular head. The interpupillary distance settings are from 55-75mm. Has an upper knob for 3 positions: 100% to the viewer. 100% to the camera, and 50/50 to the viewer and camera. Has a miniature 5-pins connector for attaching a shutter in the head which can close off the oculars during the measurements(or exposure. When doing photography) The knob on the side could mask off the retroreflector on the chance stray light was interfering with the viewing. Please see the pictures and ask any questions. Leica Leitz trinocular microscope head w/ 2 ea. 10x eyepieces trinoc Dialux This came off of a Dialux 20. It may fit onto other similar models. Mounts via a round dovetail that is about 42 mm in diameter. All the mechanics on this piece are a little stiff. This includes the prism changeover knob and interpupillary distance adjust. But both do move and may get better with more use. I'll leave it up to the operator if they want to disassemble either or both and relubricate- which is certainly possible. There is a knob on the left that I believe can be turned to block stray light from coming through the eyepieces. This apparently does not work and again. I'll leave it up to the operator is they want to disassemble and repair. The optic are in decent condition. There is a small amount of haze in the eyepiece prisms which is normal for ... morea head this old. The light path to the camera is very clean as are both of the included 10x Periplan GF 18 field number eyepieces both of which have built in diopters which work well. Slide in bertrand lens(focus is not working) Slide in pin hole. The small black knobs that you see are not securely mouted and slip off if pulled. It will need some work and cleaning. Up for auction is a non-working trinocular microscope head from a Leitz Orthoplan 2 or Aristoplan microscope. Please note: this scope is labeled as an Orthoplan 2. As seen in the last three photos, but has the appearance of an Aristoplan. I believe the parts fit the newer Aristoplan models rather than older Orothoplan models. I am not 100% certain on this, so please check your needs carefully. The part number on this head is#512 818. The intraocular adjustment is not working on this item.when you turn the knob it just spins and does not move the eyepiece holders. I believe the gears are stripped inside from trying to move the knob when it was gummed up and frozen in place, or the knob itself is broken.
