CARL ZEISS or JENA POLARIZING INTERMEDIATE TUBE MICROSCOPE POL FILTER - RARE!!
This is a polarizing intermediate tube off an early Carl Zeiss polarizing microscope. The oriented polarizing filter is in great shape. As are the rest of the optics. There is a Bertrand lens, and a slot for a standard sized secondary wave plate. There is no hazing or fungal growth whatsoever, and the lenses are crystal clear. I have disassembled this and greased the slides, it just needs to be reinstalled on a microscope and it will work perfectly. This is an extremely hard to find piece, they don't come up often. This particular one will fit a great variety of models of microscope(i even successfully used one on an Olympus Vanox!

I'm not familiar with this item but I'll do my best to descibe it. 50mm dovetail mount. It has a slide in rotating polarizer. Rotation mechanism works. Slide in bertrand lens(focus is not working) Slide in pin hole. The small black knobs that you see are not securely mouted and slip off if pulled. It will need some work and cleaning. Due to this I'm selling as is for parts or repair.

You are bidding on a Leitz Wetzlar 10X/ 18 Periplan Pol Focusing Eyeypiece The eyepiece is in great shape having only few very minor scratches and some very small dots in the the coating that can only be seen with a loupe. Images are not affected by these blemishes and one cannot tell that they are there when viewing through the eyepiece. The eyepiece has a cross hair reticle with a 10mm scale accross it devided into 50 parts. There is a small amount of dust on the reticle. The eyepiece has a 3mm centering tab on the side.
