This was given to me a long while back, and it came to me in its same condition. some one had painted the mechanical part in efforts to make it' young again' its obvious its been painted and patched up. But it still is a functioning piece, but because of its worn looks i am selling it very cheap. the stage its self looks NEW, it doesn't have a mark on it. this is still a good stage set up as long as you are not too picky about cosmetics. this fits on the ch and ch2 olympus scopes. i am not sure if it fits on any newer scopes. I do know there are'copies' of the ch and ch2 scope design out there today that this might fit also. buyer pays shipping no returns! the only exceptions being if an item was some how grossly misrepresented. The item on offer is a Leitz monocular microscope; the serial number is 538913. I believe this microscope was likely manufactured about 1960. The all Leitz optical components consist of a Periplan GF 10X ocular and four objectives: 3.5X NA 0.10. 10X NA 0.25, 45X NA 0.65, and an oil immersion 100X NA 1.30. The condenser is on a rack and pinion focusing mount; it has a swing out filter tray. The iris diaphragm of the condenser works smoothly. The microscope comes with a functioning(see photos) Leitz substage lamp that fits a pin socket in the base; it is powered by a conventional 110 V source. The microscope is fitted with a mechanical stage. The fine and coarse focus motions are smooth, as are the mechanical stage motions. Olympus Microscope KHC Mechanical Stage and focus holder
For sale is a Olympus stage. I believe it is a KHC stage but I know very little about this. The knobs that controls the X/Y range of movement are crooked and though the mechanics still work they are not smooth. It is still totally functional as-is. It just isn't working like new. I don't know how easy this sort of thing is to fix/align. Stage has a few minor scratches/marks that you usually see with used pieces of equipment. Nothing major. It has a focus holder mount on it(I think that is what it is called. Please look at the pictures) I know nothing about it and see no markings on it. The mechanics on it seem to work fine. Zeiss Microscope Centering & Rotating Pol XY Mechanical Stage w/Centering Screws
This is a very nice Carl Zeiss X Y Rotating and Centering Mechanical stage for polarizing microscopy or transmitted or reflected light microscopy of most any kind. This particular stage comes with a centering device with both centering screws designed into the ring and not seperate requiring special tools as seen on most centering devices. The stage will also come with four standard metric slot head mounting screws as shown and fits all Zeiss black and grey colored microscopes as well as some of the Axioline models. Mechanically the stage works extremelly well. As it should without backlash, as does the rotation. Cosmetically it shows some minor wear as one would expect but much less than we normally see. There is no brassing or bad scratches on the top surface. Only one edge on the left side rim of picture two has any wear. There is a UC(University ... moreof California) property number on the edge as seen in picture two as well but it is dark and hard to see at all. Overall a very nice a worthy mechanical and rotating centering stage for any Zeiss microscope. That was given to me in a surplus box that was headed for the trash. with a little TLC this and te other parts and accessories are in fine condition and still have quite a lot of life left in them. this is an old mechanical stage attachment. both knobs axis DO work. And is in great condition: but i am selling it as'for part or not working' since i do not have the other half of the stage. i believe this was an optional stage attachment for the olympus KHC line? very old and fairly rare, It has been cleaned and lubed. And is moving quite smoothly so its already to go plus the glide pads on the underside are in great condition, this would be a great mechanical stage to complete someones vintage olympus scope. sold as is.
