Both of which are focused at the same point on the sample. This particular example is one of the more elaborate configurations B&L offered in the 1960's. Three objective pairs can be quickly interchanged- all are attached to a common slide. The objectives included with this instrument include a 0.66x. A 2x, and a 6x. The oculars are a pair of wide-field 15x. The stand includes a separable base that is used for transmitted light applications. The mirror fork and mirror are present. But the mirror pretty dirty, I did not know if it was coated and did not want to risk cleaning it wrong. Also lacking is the glass stage plate but the chrome-plated ledge that would have held it in place is there. This would be a very easy thing to fabricate. When transmitted light is not needed. The bottom assembly may be removed Do this by releasing a knurled screw on the back of the focus drive housing. In addition to the rack& pinion focus drive there is a second dovetail which may be extended for very large samples- the handle for securing it is visible beneath the microscope arm. The microscope is in good condition. All parts could use a good cleaning and lubrication. And the alignment should be checked. Only what is pictured is what is included. The scope is 13x8x8" One of the adjuster knobs is bent a little, but still functions perfectly. It could use a good cleaning. I used it and it works very well. Four objectives( 3 brass) 4 mm 0.65 43X, 16 mm 0.25 10X, oil immersion; 160.0 mm 1/12 1.32NA. 4th objective is(silver so I assume)steel-oil immersion: 1.8mm 1.25 97X, in its own case. Double-sided mirror, illuminator which is a Beck and Kassel made in Germany. bulb works.Also has a small container with a blue glass and i believe the other is a dark ground stop. as well as a third glass that was already there in microscope. see photo#7.there is also a bracket, i assume for mounting under the stage not sure. Wooden case has label on inside of Bausch and Lomb. The case has a holder on side for objectives with cases. hold 10) the case does have a crack in the back see photo's and is dirty.Dusty with marks towards the bottom edges. microscope does need cleaning. has usual wear marks from usage. this was stored for many years in basement. belonged to my mom who was a med tech. when i looked up the serial# it is from 1923. microscope and case is very heavy over 23 pounds.
