Zeiss UT-2 4-Axis Universal Stage for Microscope
For auction I have one used Zeiss UT-2 Universal Stage. This item is in good used condition. All movements are smooth. But lubrication is recommended. The kit is incomplete. There are two sets of three glass hemispheres with refractive indices of 1.555 and 1.649. The glass is in very good condition. The Wright arcs are fully functional and hold their positions without issue. The four axes operate smoothly. I'm uncertain of the function of the fix knobs, but they turn smoothly. Note that the bottom of the stage is flat. It has three mounting holes with bolts. They are arranged in a triangular pattern. They are approximately 12mm apart on center and all are equidistant to each other. The bolt pattern can be seen in pic 8 where it secures to the bottom of the case. Zeiss Stereo Microscope Transmitted Light Base w/ Two Stage Plates
This is an excellent condition. Zeiss transmitted light base with two frosted glass plates and original removable stage clips included, for the Zeiss Stereo Microscope Systems. The two frosted plates are mint, like new. The base fits the L and LO standard table stands. It can also be set under any other stereo microscope with the light directed down the back small covered clear glass opening. The light bounces off a couple of mirrors, one clear and one soft matt, internally and up through the stage plate. The base, as indicated, also comes with the two stage clips holding a slide if desired on either stage plate which are 84mm in diameter. The condition, as mentioned, is excellent. This is the last complete one I have; there are no more. Olympus BH2 microscope to Zeiss stage mount adapter unit
This is constructed from an original BH2 stage condenser mount assembly so I could use the excellent ball bearing Zeiss Pol#66 stage on the Olympus BHS stand. The Olympus pol stage is rare and not ball bearing. And rather cumbersome to maintain due to wear and lack of lubrication issues. The upper portion was cut from a Zeiss Universal stage carrier and was square to my stage mounting. If you take care yours should be the same however I would think if not just very minor shimming might be required. To mount the Zeiss stage the upper portion must be removed, then the stage attached to that, and finally that is then assembled back to the Olympus casting. This item is being sold with NO RESERVE Up for auction is a Carl Zeiss stage and specimen holder built in West Germany(Part# 37 34 15) This stage was recently removed from one of our older microscopes that was being retired. The movement of the specimen holder along the Y-Axis is very smooth. The movement of the specimen holder along the X-Axis is smooth near the middle and all the way to the right of the stage. But it will not go completely over to the left side of the stage when using the adjustment knob. There is a small plastic plate with teeth along one edge, that is fastened under the stage by two screws(see close up pics of plate on and off of the stage) On this stage, several of the teeth on the plastic plate are damaged(see pic) which is why it won't move the specimen holder all the way to the left edge of the stage. We have ... moreused this stage(in the condition that it is in) for several years without any problems, because we always use standard size microscope slides, so there was never a reason to move the specimen holder away from the center of the stage, but you could always move the specimen holder manually if you did need to move it past the edge of the stage. Overall this is a very clean stage and it gets the job done. The other piece of the mechanism(gear) that moves the stage along the X-Axis is made out of steel. And it is still in perfect condition, so the only thing that would need to be done to make this stage 100% perfect would be to replace the plastic plate. Lay a slide on the stage and slide it to the desired position, then, using the two rotation pins, rotate the stage about its axis while your field of view stays perfectly centered. Auction Wizard 2000 Listing Template- AW2KLOT#189 Zeiss Type 57 Rotating XY Research Microscope Stage with Graduated Periphery This is a very nice Zeiss research microscope stage complete with a carrier for the higher-end Grayline microscopes(the WL and the entire range of photomicroscopes including the Ultraphot. UEM, etc) This stage is quite versatile, being graduated in both X and Y, and about the periphery where rotation may be read to 0.1 degrees via a vernier. It has 75mm of motion in the X axis, and 50mm of motion in the Y axis, both reading to 0.1mm via verniers. There is a friction clamp for Y-axis motion, and another friction clamp for theta rotation. The stage sits in a shallow recess with a spring-loaded pin that bears against two centering screws with box heads. The X-axis superstructure may be entirely removed leaving an upper ... moresurface without any projections. The stage was available in two versions. Without the graduated periphery, it was designated a Type 56 stage. The addition of the graduations and the vernier, as seen here, changes the nomenclature to a Type 57 stage. The stage is in fantastic cosmetic condition. The engraving about the periphery and for both axes is crisp and clean. There is just a trace of wear on the upper surface of the stage underneath the spring-arm finger. But it is very modest and there is no brassing. The only place I noted some scoring in the paint was in the periphery between 250 and 260 degrees. The graduations and numbers are not affected, but you can see some scoring in the black part of the finish(see first photo) Mechanically the stage is in perfect condition. It was entirely pulled apart. Cleaned, and relubricated. Rotation is extremely smooth not a trace of'brinelling' from the ball bearing races, and both the X and Y motions are smooth and free of backlash. Zeiss Microscope Centering & Rotating Pol XY Mechanical Stage w/Centering Screws
This is a very nice Carl Zeiss X Y Rotating and Centering Mechanical stage for polarizing microscopy or transmitted or reflected light microscopy of most any kind. This particular stage comes with a centering device with both centering screws designed into the ring and not seperate requiring special tools as seen on most centering devices. The stage will also come with four standard metric slot head mounting screws as shown and fits all Zeiss black and grey colored microscopes as well as some of the Axioline models. Mechanically the stage works extremelly well. As it should without backlash, as does the rotation. Cosmetically it shows some minor wear as one would expect but much less than we normally see. There is no brassing or bad scratches on the top surface. Only one edge on the left side rim of picture two has any wear. There is a UC(University ... moreof California) property number on the edge as seen in picture two as well but it is dark and hard to see at all. Overall a very nice a worthy mechanical and rotating centering stage for any Zeiss microscope.
