Olympus BH2 microscope to Zeiss stage mount adapter unit
This is constructed from an original BH2 stage condenser mount assembly so I could use the excellent ball bearing Zeiss Pol#66 stage on the Olympus BHS stand. The Olympus pol stage is rare and not ball bearing. And rather cumbersome to maintain due to wear and lack of lubrication issues. The upper portion was cut from a Zeiss Universal stage carrier and was square to my stage mounting. If you take care yours should be the same however I would think if not just very minor shimming might be required. To mount the Zeiss stage the upper portion must be removed, then the stage attached to that, and finally that is then assembled back to the Olympus casting. And it was easier to hand deliver it than it was to pack it. I took this along and he showed me on the IMT-2. Which was equipped with a mercury burner ultraviolet lamp, how it was used. So for once I can say with a reasonable degree of confidence that it does work. However.
