Zeiss microscope IM ICM strain free (POL) nosepiece w 5 DIC Wollaston adapters
Nice condition Carl Zeiss IM or ICM microscope nosepiece with DIC Wollaston objective slider adapters as installed and sold by Carl Zeiss and fitted to my ICM405. This 5-place was unit was designated for DIC use and I have been told it was a strain free design for the optic. There is no delamination or issues on the nose Telan lens or any of the adapters. The adapters are fixed in place(probably with a thread lock chemical) and cannot easily be removed. There probably is some minor finish marks on the exterior surfaces but none effect its use. This is a polarizing intermediate tube off an early Carl Zeiss polarizing microscope. The oriented polarizing filter is in great shape. As are the rest of the optics. There is a Bertrand lens, and a slot for a standard sized secondary wave plate. There is no hazing or fungal growth whatsoever, and the lenses are crystal clear. I have disassembled this and greased the slides, it just needs to be reinstalled on a microscope and it will work perfectly. This is an extremely hard to find piece, they don't come up often. This particular one will fit a great variety of models of microscope(i even successfully used one on an Olympus Vanox!

When installed in the binocular or trinocular tube POL and the analyser slider is pulled out from the optical path or flipped out of the optical path depending on the configuration of the microscope. Zeiss Microscope Centering & Rotating Pol XY Mechanical Stage w/Centering Screws
This is a very nice Carl Zeiss X Y Rotating and Centering Mechanical stage for polarizing microscopy or transmitted or reflected light microscopy of most any kind. This particular stage comes with a centering device with both centering screws designed into the ring and not seperate requiring special tools as seen on most centering devices. The stage will also come with four standard metric slot head mounting screws as shown and fits all Zeiss black and grey colored microscopes as well as some of the Axioline models. Mechanically the stage works extremelly well. As it should without backlash, as does the rotation. Cosmetically it shows some minor wear as one would expect but much less than we normally see. There is no brassing or bad scratches on the top surface. Only one edge on the left side rim of picture two has any wear. There is a UC(University ... moreof California) property number on the edge as seen in picture two as well but it is dark and hard to see at all. Overall a very nice a worthy mechanical and rotating centering stage for any Zeiss microscope.
