For auction I have one used Zeiss UT-2 Universal Stage. This item is in good used condition. All movements are smooth. But lubrication is recommended. The kit is incomplete. There are two sets of three glass hemispheres with refractive indices of 1.555 and 1.649. The glass is in very good condition. The Wright arcs are fully functional and hold their positions without issue. The four axes operate smoothly. I'm uncertain of the function of the fix knobs, but they turn smoothly. Note that the bottom of the stage is flat. It has three mounting holes with bolts. They are arranged in a triangular pattern. They are approximately 12mm apart on center and all are equidistant to each other. The bolt pattern can be seen in pic 8 where it secures to the bottom of the case. Zeiss Stereo Microscope Transmitted Light Base w/ Two Stage Plates
This is an excellent condition. Zeiss transmitted light base with two frosted glass plates and original removable stage clips included, for the Zeiss Stereo Microscope Systems. The two frosted plates are mint, like new. The base fits the L and LO standard table stands. It can also be set under any other stereo microscope with the light directed down the back small covered clear glass opening. The light bounces off a couple of mirrors, one clear and one soft matt, internally and up through the stage plate. The base, as indicated, also comes with the two stage clips holding a slide if desired on either stage plate which are 84mm in diameter. The condition, as mentioned, is excellent. This is the last complete one I have; there are no more. Olympus Stage for MG Metallograph

But the knobs show very little wear, indicating that it has seen little use. The movement is a little stiff, with slight backlash, the gears look excellent, and the brass sliding surfaces are smooth. This item is sold as is and as shown. It does not include the stage insert.

Automated/manual mechanical stage for Nikon Diaphot, Vexta motors, no controller
This automated stage came off a Nikon Diaphot TMD inverted microscope that was surplus from a biotech company. And appears to be in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. However, there is still a little bit of Scotch tape residue on top of the stage, perhaps it was serving to hold a stage plate in place. The manufacturer is unknown, but the stepping motors are VEXTA model PXC43-01AA, made by the Oriental Motor Co. in Japan. It works perfectly as a manual mechanical stage. With the X-Y control knobs on the right side of the stage. It is missing the control module and the stage plate, only what is shown in the photos is included. However, the stage plate was rectangular or square, and one could easily be customized from a piece of sheet metal or heavy plastic.
