You are bidding on a ring illuminator for a stereo microscope which was made by Stocker& Yale. It uses a fluorescence tube with a standard wall outlet for power. It is labeled as a model 9 circular illuminator which is part of the Mite Lite series. It is brand new and never been used from left over dealer inventory. The Stocker& Yale catalog number is 10084917. It has a mount which will attach to the front lens of most stereo microscopes. The mount is circular with three pins to tighten in order to clamp the device on the microscope. It will fit on a front lens or barrel which has a diameter from about 70 mm down to about 52 mm. It has a simple on/off switch on the back. It has been turned on and it works fine. This device can also be used off a microscope to simply add light to a work area. This is a stocker and yale microscope light. It is a 3" light ring ans has a 2.125" clamp coller(coule be made to fit smaller diameter) and it works fine. It is a bit dirty but it still works fine and could probably be cleaned up if you wanted. My company has merged with another and we have some overflow of equipment. Including wear on the logos and some yellowing of the plastic. Includes the gooseneck, but there appears to be a break in one side of the tubing- it's been patched with black electrical tape and still works. I've plugged it in and it powers up and light comes out of both ends, and the dimmer switch makes the light get brighter and dimmer(which my cat found rather amusing) Includes unit with gooseneck, and a standard power cord.
