This microscope consist of a basic modular M101 Simple Microscope Body(168mm optical tube length) with the following addtions: The Eyepiece on the microscope is a the M226 1.1x eyepiece with 80mm EFL and with the 168mm optical tube length M101 body. This yields a Total Magnification of 11x, a Working Distance of 157mm, and and Objective Field of 9.1mm. The Adapter used for this microscope setup is the M259-242. A small control box, and a 5240 Indexer/Drive, which is also labeled a Pacific Scientific 5240. For once I got the entire system which is nice because it allows me to hook it up and test it. If you flip the Shutter switch on the control box to ON the shutter opens. And it does it REALLY fast. If you press one of the filter numbers 1 through 8 the wheel moves to that position REALLY fast(there are no filters fitted I don’t believe) So as far as I can tell it is fully functional and ready for action.
