DESCRIPTION This vintage 1950s Bradford Heavenly Angel reflecting light is for a Christmas tree top. IT WORKS and comes in its Original Box which is in excellent condition except for one torn spot on the lid(See picture# 3. The mechanism by which it works is that there is a wire around the bulb with a point on it. A red petal fan is placed on top of the point and the heat from the warm bulb causes the fan to turn. This is a beautiful vintage Bradford Heavenly Reflecting Light No. 20. Angel Christmas tree top. Includes small red plastic fan that revolves from bulb heat to reflect stunning red reflections on the silver reflector that rotate. 110-180 volt, Westinghouse lamp. 8" reflector, 9" angel. Working Leeds & Northrup Reflecting DC Galvanometer 2430 C Moving Mirror, Light.
This listing is for a Working Leeds& Northrup Reflecting DC Galvanometer Model 2430-C. Prior to listing it was tested as follows: The galvanometer was powered up and both coarse and fine Zeros were set according to the procedure in the user manual. A DC potential difference in the microVolt range was created by taking 3V from a bench power supply. Dropping most of it across a 39Mohm resistor and the rest across a 12ohm resistor. The terminals of the galvanometer were connected across the 12ohm resistor and deflection of the light beam was observed. The connections were reversed and the light beam was observed to deflect in the opposite direction. No attempt was made to measure accuracy or calibration and. As with any vintage instrument, these are not guaranteed. It is in excellent vintage condition. Tested to operate, zero and deflect ... morewhen a voltage is present. Input terminals have been shorted at all times during storage and transportation, to protect the armature. May have scuffs, scratches or dings- see pictures for cosmetic condition. Will ship with the terminals shorted. The pin and glass strip packed separately and the mirror assembly bound, as per the manufacturer's instructions. This is the most comprehensively tested one on ebay- don't let it get away!

Vintage 1950's BRADFORD Heavenly Reflecting Light ANGEL Christmas Tree Topper
Light is in excellent condition throughout sowing little. If any, wear or abuse from age. The light works and there is barely any chrome loss from the inside of the lamp dome. No broken or missing pieces but there are some minor factory melt marks on the bottom shaft. The metal bulb bracket that holds the spinning fan which creates the flickering light effect was Jerry-rigged at one time and unfortunately the fan didn't spin when we tested it. The box and insert are in good/very good condition throughout and the window. Still firmly attached, is void of any issues. A fine example of this classic Bradford tree topper so take a look!
