The microscope and light source power supply are in working condition. The bulb unfortunately blew as I was testing it so will need replacing. There is a small amount of paint rubbed off the stage and some very light corrosion to the stage. See the photos. It does not affect the functionality at all. But very nice American Optical fluorescence microscope, Model One-Ten. This microscope was recently removed from a working environment in our laboratory because we no longer use it and we needed the bench space. It is equipped with an American Optical Microstar trinocular head. The eyepiece holders swivel outward and inward for interpupillary measurement. It has a diopter on the left tube and everything works with precision. It has two original AO 180 10x WF eye pieces, both of which are in excellent condition(no scuffs, scratches, delamination, or fungus) It also has 4 AO objectives: 4/12 Plan ACHRO, 10/25 Plan ACHRO, 40/89 Plan ACHROMAT, 100/1.25 OIL Plan ACHRO. All four objectives are in ... moregood condition. This unit also comes with an American Optical 100 Watt Vertical Fluorescence lamp house, Model 2071, with an attached filter cube housing. There are currently 2 Fluorescence Filter Blocks installed in the housing. The two filters are AO 2072 and AO 2077. Both filter blocks are in perfect condition. There is also a Mercury Lamp Power Supply. Model 2054. The trinocular is currently set up with a Zeiss 35mm camera. There is an adjustable 2.8x to 5x camera tri-nocular adapter, with electronic shutter, cables and tube adapter. The trinocular can easily be converted to accept a digital camera, or a viewing eyepiece. The mercury bulb was removed from this microscope after 100 hours were logged(this is a requirement at our University) So a new bulb will need to be purchased separately. The halogen bulb is brand new(it was replaced on 8/25/2014) The stage movements are very smooth and all of the adjustment knobs turn easily. The lamp on the underside seems to work fine and the three objectives all produce a clear and focused image. Two of the photos of the specimen seem slightly blurry. But only because I had to make my"slides" out of shipping tape, which does not work very well as a medium for the accurate passing of light. All of the specifications are listed below.
