But the knobs show very little wear, indicating that it has seen little use. The movement is a little stiff, with slight backlash, the gears look excellent, and the brass sliding surfaces are smooth. This item is sold as is and as shown. It does not include the stage insert.

Olympus BH2 microscope to Zeiss stage mount adapter unit
This is constructed from an original BH2 stage condenser mount assembly so I could use the excellent ball bearing Zeiss Pol#66 stage on the Olympus BHS stand. The Olympus pol stage is rare and not ball bearing. And rather cumbersome to maintain due to wear and lack of lubrication issues. The upper portion was cut from a Zeiss Universal stage carrier and was square to my stage mounting. If you take care yours should be the same however I would think if not just very minor shimming might be required. To mount the Zeiss stage the upper portion must be removed, then the stage attached to that, and finally that is then assembled back to the Olympus casting. Up for Sale is an olympus BH2 stand with stage back light and transformer base. Focusing knob works good but lever lock doesn't work. Bolt on the head is broken. Stage has almost no wear. Nice looking but with some noise when slide. Base transformer is in perfect working condition and back-light provides a bright light. Objective turret is also in good condition. It has been cleaned. For sale is a Olympus stage. I believe it is a KHC stage but I know very little about this. The knobs that controls the X/Y range of movement are crooked and though the mechanics still work they are not smooth. It is still totally functional as-is. It just isn't working like new. I don't know how easy this sort of thing is to fix/align. Stage has a few minor scratches/marks that you usually see with used pieces of equipment. Nothing major. It has a focus holder mount on it(I think that is what it is called. Please look at the pictures) I know nothing about it and see no markings on it. The mechanics on it seem to work fine.
