There are NO DIC prisms,but the five prism holders are in place. The OPTEM attachment is a 90 degrees deflector. It is easily removable. The OPTEM attachment can be replaced by a regular binocular or trinocular Nikon head. The DIC Nikon nosepiece can be completely separated from the motorized assembly. The separate nosepiece fits the OPTIPHOT MICROSCOPE FRAMES. The plug that should connect to the nosepiece controller has 10 pins,arranged in two parallel rows of five pins each. Nikon Epiphot Microscope Nosepiece with DIC prisms
For sale is a Nikon nosepiece that I believe came off of an Epiphot 200 inverted microscope stand. This 5 position nosepiece is fully configured with reflected light DIC prisms for 2x. 4x, 5x, 10/100x, and one open position for an additional prism. All of the optics are in excellent shape and all of the mechanics work smoothly. The dovetail on the nosepiece is 43mm and the thread diameter of the lenses appears to be 26mm. This nosepiece is also suitable for reflected light darkfield illumination. Please contact me with any questions. Check out my other auctions- I do combine shipping when possible. This auction is for an used Nikon microscope 5 holes objectives turret( nosepiece) The diameter of the turrets is ~ 75 mm. The diameter of those five holes is ~ 20 mm. Please see from the picture 2. I am not sure which Nikon microscope is suitable for. It is in OK condition. Rotating smoothly, screw thread looks OK! In general. The cosmetic is OK. Further any question is welcome.
