But it still is a functioning piece, but because of its worn looks i am selling it very cheap. the stage its self looks NEW, it doesn't have a mark on it. this is still a good stage set up as long as you are not too picky about cosmetics. this fits on the ch and ch2 olympus scopes. i am not sure if it fits on any newer scopes. I do know there are'copies' of the ch and ch2 scope design out there today that this might fit also. buyer pays shipping no returns! the only exceptions being if an item was some how grossly misrepresented. Zeiss UT-2 4-Axis Universal Stage for Microscope
For auction I have one used Zeiss UT-2 Universal Stage. This item is in good used condition. All movements are smooth. But lubrication is recommended. The kit is incomplete. There are two sets of three glass hemispheres with refractive indices of 1.555 and 1.649. The glass is in very good condition. The Wright arcs are fully functional and hold their positions without issue. The four axes operate smoothly. I'm uncertain of the function of the fix knobs, but they turn smoothly. Note that the bottom of the stage is flat. It has three mounting holes with bolts. They are arranged in a triangular pattern. They are approximately 12mm apart on center and all are equidistant to each other. The bolt pattern can be seen in pic 8 where it secures to the bottom of the case. A Very Nice Instrument. This is a very good conditon. Clean and working American Optical Model 365 illuminator. It has a 3 stage light source(Lo Med Hi) on the power supply and an indicator light. All parts work fine including the main light bulb. It uses 110 VAC The arm is adjustable and moveable to aim the spot light just about anywhere. The chrome finish on the arm needs polishing. The two frosted plates are mint, like new. The base fits the L and LO standard table stands. The light bounces off a couple of mirrors, one clear and one soft matt, internally and up through the stage plate. The all Leitz optical components consist of a Periplan GF 10X ocular and four objectives: 3.5X NA 0.10. 10X NA 0.25, 45X NA 0.65, and an oil immersion 100X NA 1.30. The condenser is on a rack and pinion focusing mount; it has a swing out filter tray. The iris diaphragm of the condenser works smoothly. The microscope comes with a functioning(see photos) Leitz substage lamp that fits a pin socket in the base; it is powered by a conventional 110 V source. The microscope is fitted with a mechanical stage. The fine and coarse focus motions are smooth, as are the mechanical stage motions. Olympus BH2 microscope to Zeiss stage mount adapter unit
This is constructed from an original BH2 stage condenser mount assembly so I could use the excellent ball bearing Zeiss Pol#66 stage on the Olympus BHS stand. The Olympus pol stage is rare and not ball bearing. And rather cumbersome to maintain due to wear and lack of lubrication issues. The upper portion was cut from a Zeiss Universal stage carrier and was square to my stage mounting. If you take care yours should be the same however I would think if not just very minor shimming might be required. To mount the Zeiss stage the upper portion must be removed, then the stage attached to that, and finally that is then assembled back to the Olympus casting.
