Vanox AH2 or AH3 microscope stands later version AH3 fluorescent nosepiece. It will fit the AH2 version of the microscope but this unit is necessary if you are bidding on the Nomarski differential interference contrast(DIC) system I also have listed on eBay. This is a very nice working fluorescent system for widefield viewing with this outstanding microscope system. A copy of the user manual will be included showing use and application. For sale is a Nikon nosepiece that I believe came off of an Epiphot 200 inverted microscope stand. This 5 position nosepiece is fully configured with reflected light DIC prisms for 2x. 4x, 5x, 10/100x, and one open position for an additional prism. All of the optics are in excellent shape and all of the mechanics work smoothly. The dovetail on the nosepiece is 43mm and the thread diameter of the lenses appears to be 26mm. Nice condition Carl Zeiss IM or ICM microscope nosepiece with DIC Wollaston objective slider adapters as installed and sold by Carl Zeiss and fitted to my ICM405. This 5-place was unit was designated for DIC use and I have been told it was a strain free design for the optic. There is no delamination or issues on the nose Telan lens or any of the adapters. The adapters are fixed in place(probably with a thread lock chemical) and cannot easily be removed. There probably is some minor finish marks on the exterior surfaces but none effect its use.
