Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Microscope In Wooden Box It belonged to my great uncle. Who was born around 1910. The serial number 252500 puts this model at a 1936. Has 2 different lenses Patent#s on lense 1: 43x divisible Lense 2: pat# 10x divisible Box appears to be maple Has a nice wooden slide to hold other lenses Box is dovetailed and has a brass lock(no key) and handle on top You can use a miniature screw driver or a small door unlocking key to open the box.
