This week I am auctioning off the left over stuff that I either can't identify or cant figure out what make and model it fits on. This offering is just a Bausch& Lomb lamp. I am unsure what it was used on? Still looks good and works great. The bulb I am sending is just one I had around here that happened to fit(Candalabra base) and I used it to test the switch and power cord. It would be much brighter with the correct bulb. Switch works fine. Lamp flex arm works fine and is quite adjustable. Overall lamp has some paint splatters but has most of it's original finish. DESCRIPTION This is an old Tasco Microscope Illuminator. Model MIL, in its original box. This funky little lamp was originally designed to illuminate the specimen slide for a microscope prior to the days when microscopes were made with built-in lamps. The lamp comes on a black cast iron stand with a chrome arm with ball-bearing joints- it is articulated so that you can tilt and angle it in whatever direction you want. There is a blue glass lens that screws on to the front, giving the cast light an eerie glow. There is a long electrical cord attached to the back and a red twist switch on the back of the socket. 3 Vintage NIKON Microscope Lamp LIGHT Fixture AMERICAN OPTICAL 651 Illuminator
Here is a lot of 4 vintage Microscope lights/lamps/illuminators. One is an AO American Optical(the one with the extender arm) and the others are Nikon. The Nikon lights DO have their bulbs and the bulbs work. The AO does not have a bulb. One of the Nikon bases has a small chip. But it should not affect how it works. One of the Nikon has a plug in on the cord, the others will need a plug-in added or it will need to be hard wired to a power supply. These worked when I spliced them to an extension cord and plugged them into a regular 110v outlet. I believe these are from the 1960s, but I cannot say for sure because they are not dated.
