This is a Nikon Dual View or Teaching Assembly. A pair of Nikon CFWN 10x/20 eyepieces are included. This attachment increases the magnification(1.25x) so a 60x objective with 10x eyepieces would have a magnification of 750x instead of 600x. It is in excellent condition. Zeiss Microscope Dual Filter Wheel
You are bidding on a dual filter wheel for a Zeiss AxioImager microscope models A1/2. D1.2, M1/2, or Z. It can be used in the transmitted or Epi light path. It contains two filter wheels which each have four positions. Each position accepts a 25 mm filter. This insert is Zeiss catalog number 428300. It is brand new and unused. The width is 75 mm and the length is about 134 mm not including the protrusion of the wheels. This lot includes 3 retaining rings to hold filters.One filter wheel has three filters in it which are labeled on the end of the wheel which sticks out as 50% 25% and 12% transmission. The fourth slot has no filter so it is 100% transmission. The second wheel has one filter in it which appears to be a 50% transmission filter. However one lens is CRACKED. You could still put a head on it but the view is partially blocked. The other lens is perfect and comes with a cover. So you could always use just it if you needed one more veiwing station and put the cover on the cracked lens. It is appoximately 24 inches in length. I have inspected this adapter completely. The illuminated pointer functions properly. However. The primary prism is missing and the secondary prism is delaminating. The exterior surface of the unit has the usual scuff marks and a few paint dings from being nearly 50 years old. I am considering is repair project. Please study the photos.
