The person he bought that from told him that this goes with it. But its for a microscope and not the Diamond lite. So we have no way of testing it. It comes in the original box. Postmarked 1981. It comes with the 5 light bulbs. The bulbs were not in it. So we don't know if this was ever used. The light looks MINT condition. We know the unit works because it came from a reputibule jeweler back in 80's and has just been sitting in the box all this time unused. The bulbs say Gem Varllux on them. The previous owner wrote F4T5 CW on them. I looked this size up and here is some info on the light bulbs model no. from the web; F4T5/CW- 4 Watt- When it comes to lighting ... moresystems. The 4-watt F4T5/CW T5 linear fluorescent tube features a high lumen output while producing a whiter, more natural color. It has a cool white color temperature of 4100K, a color rendering CRI of 60, and an average life of 6,000 hours. This lamp utilizes an electronic ballast for 10 to 15 percent more energy savings! The brass ends have started to tarnish so I can't tell if they were ever used. The white bulb looks new. Comes as shown in the pics.
