Auction consisting of: 1- Nikon 5 Port Microscope Turret with Reichert McBain Granite Base. This auction is for a used Nikon. 5 Port Microscope Turret with a Reichert McBain Granite Base. The Microscope has a single 10X WF comp monocular that is in nice shape, and has a custom aluminum camera mount assembly above it. There is a light source that mounts horizontally to the turret, it has about a foot long cord with a four prong plug. The vertical riser raises and lowers with the hand crank as well as the knurled fine positioner wheels. It is unclear if any of these microscope components need work or if any component needs replacement to make it work! Our tests were just a brief once-over to confirm basic mechanical functionality- we have no way of testing the optics and the unit does not come with any objectives! The granite base and vertical stand are beasts at 132Lbs, very heavy duty, solid and stable for accuracy- but makes it a freight shipment auction only! This is an excellent condition. Zeiss transmitted light base with two frosted glass plates and original removable stage clips included, for the Zeiss Stereo Microscope Systems. The two frosted plates are mint, like new. The base fits the L and LO standard table stands. It can also be set under any other stereo microscope with the light directed down the back small covered clear glass opening. The light bounces off a couple of mirrors, one clear and one soft matt, internally and up through the stage plate. The base, as indicated, also comes with the two stage clips holding a slide if desired on either stage plate which are 84mm in diameter. The condition, as mentioned, is excellent. This is the last complete one I have; there are no more.
