This one is unusual due to condition. Most Optivars we have seen in the past have some issues with lens separations. However I can no flaws in any one of the lenses on this unit. Zeiss Microscope Optovar Magnification Changer Bertrand Lens for Standard WL GFL
There is a very small area of delamination on the outside of the upper optic. It is out of the field of view and does not affect the image in my testing. Bertrand lens does not focus. I'm not sure if this working as intended or if it was originally designed to focus. Aside from these two issues it is working perfectly. Turret rotation is smooth.
