This was uses in a quality insurance department when I purchased it and was well taken care of. There are also two American Scientific Optical Light Sources Model 655C Illuminators they both work one needs a new light bulb. The Dial on the front is OFF 4.6/5.0/5.5/6.0 115V 60HZ 30VA. Simply marked 10x W F. It is considerably wider than the standard StereoZoom ocular and a fair amount longer. I believe this may have been one of the first oculars intended for use with the StereoZoom 7. It is also possible that it was only to be used with the StereoZoom 7 when it was fitted with the coaxial illuminator. Standard B&L stereo oculars had to be fitted with red plastic spacer rings to make the zoom system parfocal with the coax illuminator installed. Perhaps the extra barrel length eliminated the need for the spacers. There are no part numbers on the eyepiece, so this is all speculation on my part, sorry!
