Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Ortholux I Microscope Lamp Housing for lower light port
This lamp housing inserts into the lower light port of the Leitz Ortholux I microscope. If you intend to use this in the upper light port. An adapter tube will be necessary, since the microscope upper port is more narrow than the lower port(a poor design feature on Leitz's part) This lamp housing is in very good condition cosmetically. The exterior paint appears to have slight cracking in it. But it is not peeling. The interior of the lamp housing does have some oxidation. The diffusers inside the lamp housing are intact and in fine condition. Electrically. The light does work and has been tested, however a 6 volt, 30 watt lamp is NOT included in the auction. The lamps can still be found at on-line light distributors or here on Ebay. Please feel free to ask any questions.
