This is surplus stock from a local university laboratory. Everything has been in storage for several years but all equipment was believed to be in good working order when put into storage. I have had some trouble finding information on this particular item. Especially since there is no model number on it. However, from the Leitz Wetzlar MM6 Instructions Manual this appears to be a Rotatable Polariser slide unit for Interference Contrast, it attached between the Xenon lamp source and the Leitz Nosepiece Vertical Illuminator. However. The one shown in the manual Says only IC on the side where this one says ICR? The glass(appears to be a prism) slides in to use or out as needed. There is an opening that holds a sliding filter. The filter that is included seems to be clear or maybe UV glass, i cannot detect any color or magnification changes no matter how I look through it. The larger sliding section with the prism like glass measures 42.6mm x 32.6mm. The smaller filter slide is 33.5mm x 3.9mm. In case this may also be useful to some, the main body of the unit is 50.65mm front to back not including the bayonet mount, and the tube is 59.9mm in diameter. Please view the photographs. There are definately some abvious ones(as seen in photos) The legs do have some noticeable dings/scratches, and the locking wheels for both the lens and legs show some signs use. Not they are scratched up or anything, but they do have some gunk in between the cracks. Nothing serious though. For how old this item is, ITS IN GREAT SHAPE!

Aufs-K- Kpl 12.5x Microscope Eyepiece Guard Metal I don't know much about this part. It looks like it is used as a spacer between the eyepiece and eye( or eyepiece and camera. The side view shows a cut out that serves as a spring pressure fit. Probably Zeiss or Leitz. Since those were the scopes we used. Maybe it is a spacer for a camera eyepiece? Free shipping in the USA. Rotating Microscope Stage Leica? Zeiss? Wild? Leitz?
I have no idea of the brand. But it has part of a sticker that says made in Switz(erland) Could be Zeiss or Leica or Leitz. The rotation is smooth and the locking mechanism works. The centering screws work as well. Item is in very good shape. Looks to be lightly used.
