Mounts via a round dovetail that is about 42 mm in diameter. All the mechanics on this piece are a little stiff. This includes the prism changeover knob and interpupillary distance adjust. But both do move and may get better with more use. I'll leave it up to the operator if they want to disassemble either or both and relubricate- which is certainly possible. There is a knob on the left that I believe can be turned to block stray light from coming through the eyepieces. This apparently does not work and again. I'll leave it up to the operator is they want to disassemble and repair. The optic are in decent condition. There is a small amount of haze in the eyepiece prisms which is normal for ... morea head this old.
