Fiber-Lite Dolan Jenner High Intensity Illuminator Series 180 w/2 optical cables
Up for auction is a Fiber-Lite High Intensity Illuminator. Series 180, 110/120 volt, 200 watt, manufactured by Dolan– Jenner Industries Inc. It comes with a 30” fiber optic cable terminated with a ring illuminator for attaching to a microscope or other optical device. Also included is a 32” fiber optic cable unterminated. As you can see from the pictures the unit works well. All pictures are with the intensity at minimum. It is extremely bright when turned up. The Intensity control and fan work well. There are some minor scuffs and a slight dent that can occur with normal use but generally it is in very good cosmetic condition. The bulb works fine but naturally I can’t guarantee it because you never know when it could burn out. But it is easy to open the top of the box and plug in a new bulb when it’s needed.
