Leica L2 compact, modular cold-light source
Leica L2 light source with dual fibre optic arms. It is modular so the arms can be changed for other arms etc(see manual for part numbers) The light source is in good condition and clamps onto the S range microscope stands- like e.g. Leica S8 APO that I have had it on. There are two small breaks in plastic under the attached bracket(see red lines on one of the picture) It does not affect the performance or attachment. As you can see the source can also stand by itself. But it is light weight and moves when arms are adjusted. The transformer has a Australian plug but can easily be changed as it is a standard computer fitting. The transformer can be used world wide in 110 and 220 V settings. Halogen bulb working. But not guaranteed to do so when raring at destination. So, expect to have to buy a new bulb.

150W EKE cold fiber optic light with dual gooseneck light guide (L-150A / A12CY)
This is an L-150A/A12CY cold light that I originally purchased new from microscopenet.com. It is in good working condition. It takes standard 21V. 150W EKE halogen bulbs. It is in good working condition and has seen relatively little use. I have included a brand new Osram EKE bulb. I ran it for an hour at about 80% intensity to test the unit and make sure it didn't overheat. Everything is good! There is just the one bulb so I recommend you buy a few more. They are easy to find here on eBay, I recommend the Osram bulbs but I'm sure other brands are good too. Run the unit at about 80% intensity(or less) to prolong the bulb life. I am selling this light because I have another unit with a different style of light guide that I prefer for photographic use. And have no need for two illuminators.
