This is a very high resolution camera with low noise levels(about 90% less than a high quality security camera) due to the three 1/2 CCDs. You will notice in the fourth photo that the original HV-C20U model number has been covered with a sticker that shows HV-C201AB. I'm guessing that this number represents firmware updates that have been done since the camera was manufactured. An important feature of the camera is that it uses common(and inexpensive) C mount lenses, rather than the bayonet mount usually needed for other 1/2" three CCD cameras, and it doesn't require any additional controllers or other equipment for most applications, since it has an OSD for set-up and a full auto mode. The optics in this coupler are PRISTINE with very nice green multicoatings as seen in the photos. There is no delamination or defects in the optical system. This coupler provides a widefield projection for cameras with 1/2" or 2/3" format CCD sensors. The coupler has a helicoidal focusing system that can adjust and focus perfectly matching what is seen in the eyepieces. This unit comes with the L-Clamp which makes it compatible with Large Leica Microscope Trinocular ~36mm diameter. The L-clamp can also be taken off and it can be used with standard ~23mm photo tubes.
