Auction Wizard 2000 Listing Template- AW2KLOT#235 Vickers Bright-field Microscope Vertical Illuminator Part- Superb Condition This is the rear portion of a Vickers microscope bright-field vertical illuminator. It consists of the illumination-forming optics that project the light onto the beam-splitter that is fixed into the housing to which this part would fasten. The elements enclosed include a field lens. An adjustable iris diaphragm(presumably the'field diaphragm' and a sliding lens system that may be clamped into position once the field iris is properly imaged in the field-of-view. The chrome sleeve at the end of the housing is 23.5mm in diameter and is equipped with a small index screw. This screw properly orients an optional attachable polarizer. The apparatus is in beautiful condition. The finish is excellent. The only evidence ... moreof use are some very light score marks in the chrome sleeve where that attachable polarizer has been positioned. Please note that the polarizer is not part of this listing. Also be aware that this part is only a portion of the vertical illuminator. And as such, is suitable mainly as a replacement or spare part! Zeiss Aus Jena Neophot Bright/Dark Field Illumination Tubes + Holder Microscope
Zeiss Aus Jena Neophot Bright/Dark Field Illumination Tubes + Holder Very good condition(few scratches) with all functions working smooth. Optics are clean! This set is for the Neophot 21. The bright field tube has a mount for two objectives and the slider works smooth. It also has a beam splitter in the tube. This tube is generally used for lower mag incident light. It is ready to go. Zeiss has used a smaller thread for their metallographic(infinity) objectives to avoid confusion as to whether the objectives could be interchanged with finite-corrected objectives. The thread size on this tube is 18mm(about) which is smaller than standard RMS size of 20.32mm. It is made for a Neophot 21. The dark field tube is in great condition for what is here. It is missing it's mirror and adjusting rod. The original mirror is flat on one side and concave ... moreon the other. A make shift mirror can be used but the original part is require for full functionality.
