Olympus BH2 microscope to Zeiss stage mount adapter unit
This is constructed from an original BH2 stage condenser mount assembly so I could use the excellent ball bearing Zeiss Pol#66 stage on the Olympus BHS stand. The Olympus pol stage is rare and not ball bearing. And rather cumbersome to maintain due to wear and lack of lubrication issues. The upper portion was cut from a Zeiss Universal stage carrier and was square to my stage mounting. If you take care yours should be the same however I would think if not just very minor shimming might be required. To mount the Zeiss stage the upper portion must be removed, then the stage attached to that, and finally that is then assembled back to the Olympus casting. The same(BP490) but I will send them both because as you see one has a filter closer to the edge and I do not know what the difference is.The system has an HBO 102HD in it at this time. Up for Sale is an olympus BH2 stand with stage back light and transformer base. Focusing knob works good but lever lock doesn't work. Bolt on the head is broken. Stage has almost no wear. Nice looking but with some noise when slide. Base transformer is in perfect working condition and back-light provides a bright light. Objective turret is also in good condition. It has been cleaned. But since it has some physical issues. I am selling it as part and not working. You are basically paying for the base transformer and the back light that are in perfect condition. I just took it off my BH-2 series scope and it is still under its current inspection plus the optics are very very clear. The interpupillary adjuster and diopter work perfectly. This was only used in a professional research lab setting and always cared for professionally and serviced annually as required. It may fit other model scopes as well. In excellent condition, no scratches, de-lamination, mold or other blemishes. All adjustments work smoothly, including 7-position turret, centering wrenches, slide-in polarizer and iris diaphragm. There are seven turret positions: 10x and 40x phase annuli, 10x, 20x, 40x and 100x DIC prisms, and empty position for bright field/ polarized light imaging.
