Unknown Maker 0.5X Auxiliary Lens for Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom
Up for sale is a 0.5X auxiliary lens for microscopes with 38mm threads(Bausch& Lomb StereoZoom line. For one) It appears to be made in the style of American Optical auxiliary lenses, but any labeling has long since worn off. Other than the labeling being worn off, the mount and the lens are in excellent shape. There are no scratches, chips, or delaminations in the lens. Even the coating appears to be unscratched. I was told that it was a 0.75X lens. But my experiments show it closer to 0.5X. One of the photos show a picture comparing this lens with an known 0.5X lens. The camera is mounted in a tripod to eliminate that as a variable, and photos were taken with known lens, no lens and unknown lens. A look at the photo clearly shows that this is very close to a 0.5X lens. U.S. buyers only. I do not ship internationally.

Bausch & Lomb 0.5X Auxiliary Lens for StereoZoom Microscopes (LOT 41)
Up for sale is a Bausch& Lomb 0.5X auxiliary lens in excellent condition. The carrier was mounted under a ring light adapter. So there are some set screw imprints in the metal. On axis, the glass is in EXCELLENT condition, with no chips or scratches. Off axis, these is a small, circular shaped scratch on the concave side(inside, once mounted) on the periphery(about 0.25" in from the edge- see photos) The photo showing the scratch was taken at approximately 16X. Under 10X magnification, the coating has some minor cleaning scratches visible, but these are NOT visible under normal usage. The thread diameter is 38mm. So this will fit, in addition to the Bausch& Lomb line, microscopes with this thread size. Photos are of actual item for sale. I DO NOT ship internationally. US only.
