This standard 23.2 outside diameter ocular is a well made high magnification eyepiece that can squeeze the most magnification out of your objectives. The metal construction holds several lenses in position and may be disassembled for cleaning. Although I have never disassembled the unit I can tell from the weight that it is not a simple two lens Huygenian ocular. It is comparatively rare and a fine addition to the collection of any American Optical enthusiast. Although it is in working condition, it would benefit from cleaning.
