But I am not sure what the resultant magnification factor becomes. The catalog number is 42-12-46. It is simply marked.66 T.V. Adapter. One end of the adapter consists of a standard C-mount thread. The other end is a cylindrical sleeve with three sets screws to secure it to whatever it was to be used with. I was unable to locate any information on the part. But it did show up in master prices lists in the 1990's. This is a very rare Bausch& Lomb(B&L) achromatic aplanatic five lens 1.4 numerical aperature older style pol condenser in very nice condition. It is very rare. It slides onto the condenser carrier above the polarizer filter assembly with a dovetail mount. Dovetail is 47mm in diameter. The top lens flips out. Leaving a.28 numerical aperature for lower power objective lenses. We know it fit the Petrographic Microscope Model LC and probably other models as well. Circa for this pol condenser was in the 1940's and 1950's. Includes an aperature diaphragm and a half shadow device plate which facilitated Becke line tests for index measurements. For the collector this is a must have accessory. Most Bausch and Lomb Polarizing microscopes did not have this condenser; instead they had the standard issue 1.10na top lens.
